VIBCO Gives “Good Vibrations” on the Highways…

A hot new look for an industrial vibrator manufacturing company attracts lots of attention on the road…

Emblazoned with vibrantly-colored flames and touting it’s “Big Bertha” line of dump-body vibrators, the sales training vans at VIBCO Vibrators stop traffic literally.

“When we were thinking about redesigning our vans, we wanted something that really expressed our unique personality as a company,”says Karl Wadensten, President of VIBCO. Karl, who has always had a passion for hot-rodding, feels that the artistry of Steve Metz and Larry Hook really captures the energy and momentum of his company; ‘We’re the Silent Vibrator Guys.’

This ‘hot-rod’ artistic style-termed ‘autodidatic’- is reminiscent of the vintage muscle cars from the 1960’s. “Our team has been having a lot of fun working with several artists from this genre,” says Marketing Manager, Alissa Gumprecht. “We’ve pulled all kinds of styles together into one amazing branding program. I think the energy and the fun we have here at VIBCO, really translates through these designs.”

They’ve created custom branded marketing initiatives across multiple media—direct mail, email, fax and phone – using similar graphics. They’ve taken common vibrator applications – dumptrucks, concrete trucks, plate compactors etc. and “overhauled” them to create a portfolio that truly catches your eye. While never wandering too far from the relevance of direct messaging about the value of vibration, they have created a look that its customers have come to recognize uniquely VIBCO.

VIBCO Vibrators manufactures industrial and construction vibration equipment for over concrete, trucking, food/beverage and milling industries to name a few. They also produce plate compactors and bla bla bla. This 40-year old company is headquartered in Wyoming, Rhode Island and also has a location in Mississaugwa, Ontario, Canada. Wadensten says their territory has been expanding in the European and bla bla bla markets. VIBCO has a 24-hour hot-line in which customers can trouble-shoot with an application engineer from anywhere in the world.

VIBCO’s sales team has the vans constantly on the road, visiting customers and providing on-site training and technical assistance. And the graphics on the vans make for an interesting ride every time. “Why not have a little fun while traveling,” says Wadensten. “We actually have people who stop on the side of the road and take pictures of our vans – people really think they’re cool.”
